Free Google Review QR Code Generator

Create a QR code that takes customers straight to your Google review form. Search your business, check the preview, and download your code as PNG or SVG for printing. It's free and needs no signup.

Pick your business from the list, or paste a Place ID or a Google review link.

How to make your Google review QR code

  1. Find your business. Type the name and city as they appear on Google Maps and choose your listing.
  2. Preview the code. Scan it with your own phone camera. It should open the Google review window for your business.
  3. Download. Use SVG for print shops and large signs (it stays sharp at any size) and PNG for documents, emails and slides.
  4. Print and place it. Put it where customers pause: the table, the counter, the receipt, the invoice.

The code points to Google's official review address for your listing: https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=…. Prefer a link instead? Use the review link generator →

Print size and placement

Where Suggested printed size Notes
Receipt or invoice at least 2 × 2 cm (0.8 in) Leave white space around the code (the "quiet zone").
Business or review card 2.5 to 3 cm square Make a review card →
Table tent or counter stand 4 to 6 cm Add a one-line call to action above it.
Window or wall poster 10 cm or more Rule of thumb: the scanning distance divided by about 10 gives the minimum code width.

These sizes are common printing guidance, not a Google rule. Always test-scan the printed proof before ordering in bulk.

Wording that works on the sign: "Enjoyed your visit? Scan to review us on Google. Takes 30 seconds." Keep it to one line, with high contrast (dark code on a light background).

What you can't put on the sign

  • No rewards for reviews: "Review us and get 10% off" breaks Google's policy, which forbids incentives for reviews.
  • No "only if you're happy" wording: inviting only satisfied customers is selective solicitation, which Google prohibits. Ask everyone the same way.

Want to know who scanned and what they said?

A plain QR code doesn't tell you anything. With Scan And Review you get a branded QR code per location or table. Customers rate their visit on a simple mobile page and can leave a review, and you get an instant alert whenever someone reports a problem, so you can fix it the same day. New Google and Facebook reviews get an AI reply in your tone of voice.

Frequently asked questions

Is this QR code generator really free?

Yes. There's no account, no watermark and no expiry. The code links straight to Google, not through a redirect we control.

Does the QR code expire?

No. It contains Google's review address for your listing, which stays the same unless the listing is removed or recreated.

Can I get a QR code from Google directly?

Yes. On a computer, open your Business Profile, select Read reviews, then Get more reviews. You can download the QR code there. Google notes that review QR codes can only be created in a computer browser, not on mobile (Google Business Profile Help).

PNG or SVG: which should I download?

SVG for anything printed by a print shop or larger than a postcard; PNG for Word documents, emails and presentations.

Why doesn't my QR code scan?

It's usually too small, too low in contrast, or missing the white border. Print it larger with a white margin and test again.
